The Organizational History of Field Artillery 1775-2003

The book was designed to complement the volume published in 1985 in the series covering the lineages and honors of Regular Army and Army Reserve field artillery regiments, which is currently being updated to include commands, brigades, groups, and regiments in all three components. This updated edition will also be published by the Center of Military History. Taken together, these volumes will provide an unparalleled portrait of one of the Army's basic combat arms as it has evolved over the past two hundred fifty years.
